The Great Divide
Book
LICC director Mark Greene believes that the "sacred-secular divide" (SSD) is more than an error in theological thinking. It is like a disease, and it is killing the life of churches and Christians in the UK and the Western world.
Greene examines the issue and comes to the conclusion that we have a leisure-time Christianity, not a whole-life Christianity. He then explores how Christians can return to the idea of whole-life discipleship and mission in the workplace and the world.
The style of writing is simple and designed for small group study (study guide also available). This book tackles head-on some of the issues which can make Christians reluctant to engage in politics as a mission field.
Paperback booklet, 30 pages.
