My story - the civil servant
Video
The civil service is the arm of government that actually puts into practise the decisions made by government ministers. Although politically neutral, civil servants can have a big influence of the details of policy and how it is implemented.
Debbie Sahadeo is a civil servant working in the Scotland office in Whitehall, and a leader of Christians in Government. She talks about her journey into public service, how she recognises it as an aspect of calling and minsitry, and the role that Christian civil servants can play.
